Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is a city used to the disasters of war. From the Mongol invasion in the 13th century, to the Nazi occupation in World War II and the subsequent Russian recovery, annexing their territories to the former USSR, they have forged their citizens over many generations to fight for what they consider to be the defense of its national and independent leadership. The year 2014 will be another year that will mark a before and after in Ukraine, but those who have walked through its streets, outside the Independence Square, have seen an open city, some people who continue their daily work, who They do not carry cases or baseball bats, they walk sheltered from the cold, they take their children to school and use the means of transport as if the riots were not raging in the heart of the City.
