In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, and on the edge of the majestic Madre de Dios River, is the indigenous community of Palma Real. To get there if you have to do it aboard motorized canoes from Puerto Maldonado. Its inhabitants of the Esse Ejja ethnic group originally come from Bolivia.
